UK lines up Abu Dhabi wealth fund for stake in £20bn-£44bn project despite growing row over other Emirati investment plans

A United Arab Emirates sovereign wealth fund has been approached to take a stake in the Sizewell C nuclear power plant project in Suffolk, it has emerged.
The UK government has lined up Mubadala, the Abu Dhabi fund run by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the owner of Manchester City, to back the energy project.
